The healthcare industry is notoriously averse to change, and for good reason: Even small product tweaks can lead to big unintended consequences that impact provider workflows, patient outcomes, and system costs. In this session, attendees will learn how Prescient Surgical tackled one of healthcare’s most pressing problems, surgical site infections, with a truly novel device that was able to successfully navigate the provider adoption gauntlet. The company’s secret? Embracing a design philosophy of minimizing change to maximize receptivity.
