It’s common for teams to grab the most obvious concept and start developing it. But, to find the best, most innovative concept, teams need to step beyond the obvious solutions by generating multiple ideas for a product or feature and evaluate those based on specific criteria to select the best solution. Join industry experts who will share tips and templates for generating ideas and down-selecting to the best ones.

Topics covered will include:
  • Why it’s important to uncover unexpected areas of innovation
  • Creating a quantity and variety of “divergent” concepts using brainstorming techniques, suspending judgement, visualizing, and challenging assumptions
  • Down-selecting to the best concept using “convergent” techniques, such as affinity diagrams, dot voting, and the Now/Wow/How/Matrix
